I personally love the empanadas at Latin Bakery - they are always packed with flavor and perfectly crispy. The tres leches cake is also a must-try, with its moist layers and rich, creamy topping. Overall, Latin Bakery is a hidden gem in Flushing, and I can't wait to visit again soon.

This place has been around for years and is always busy. I really like their beef and spinach empanadas. Very flavorful and the green sauce gives a nice kick. Their soups are also very tasty. They also have a wide variety of breads. The one with the cheese inside is delicious. Occasionally I'll treat myself to the strawberry cheesecake. Dense, like Junior's cheesecake. Yum! We decided to also try the flan and mini guava pie today. The servers are friendly and it's cute when they call you "mommy."

My grandpa really likes some of the cakes and pastries here! Unfortunately last time we went they did not have what we were looking for, however we were still able to get something good for him! There's always a long line but it moves fast!

First time I've eaten here in 10 years yet the flavor has remained consistent and the price has barely risen. I got a beef empanada and a chicken empanada. They were delicious and the total cost was $4.90. I'll be back soon to see if their daily soup and bread are just as good as they were years ago. Pretty excited since I used to frequently dine here as a hungry student.

Large selection of bakery items and other assorted items. Check out their menu. Great cup of coffee.

so much more than just a bakery! in a sea of asian businesses, latin bakery has stood out and held its own. i've been coming here for years and have tried a bunch of things. some standouts: -beef empanadas: hot, crunchy, flavorful, a really nice snack. -buñuelos: a big round ball of spongy, sorta eggy bread on the inside, crunchy outer shell. it has a teeny tiny bit of sweetness and i really like pairing it with hot coffee. -oxtail stew: filled with yucca, potatoes, and tender oxtails, it's super hearty, flavorful, and oh-so-comforting. they also ask if you want cilantro in it. as a cilantro lover, i'm onboard of course. however, i kno some ppl has an aversion to cilantro and it's nice that they look out for them too. -bandeja paisa: the unofficial national dish of Colombia. holy moley, this is the textbook definition of "itis". it comes with steak, chorizo, chicharron, maduro (fried sweet plantain), avocado, arepa, fried egg, rice, and beans. there's sooooo much going on and everything is nicely seasoned. the portion size is huge and i can make 2-3 meals out of it. eat this and you'll need a nap afterwards lol. the staff doesn't speak much english but they are nice and do try hard to help you. i also saw it as a chance to brush off and practice my broken Spanish lol. when all else fails, just smile (or as much as you can through a mask) and point lol. a good neighborhood spot and highly recommended for sure!

I came in today with a craving for empanadas and ordered 1 chicken, 2 beef, and a pan de bono. The empanadas were so tasty and fresh. I remember them being smaller, dry, and sometimes soggy but these were bigger, moist, flavorful, and crunchy. I love their hot sauce. It is quite thin and spicy but the kind that does not linger. The prices are affordable but the wait time is a bit frustrating. Overall, they've improved over the years and I will return for more empanadas.

I been to this place before and I had to go back for more. The bread with cheese and ham is my favorite. Located in flushing the bakery/restaurant has a nice menu. This place I'll be going back again. The Delicious aroma of food will make you stay.

My favorite place to come for some Colombian coffee and bread. It's a tiny location, but they have plenty of seating. I love the Pan de bono and arepa de choclo.

I've been coming to this place for the past ten years. It's good solid homemade Spanish food. Usually when I come here I always get El Especial del día (the special of the day), or I'll just stop by to pick up a few empanadas to satisfy my craving. I'm also in love with their coffee (hot or iced). Today the lunch/dinner special was Roast chicken on a bed of white rice and (my favorite) platano maduro/sweet plantain. You also get a small salad and a side of brown beans (they're not like my mothers Dominican habichuelas, but they're still very delicious over the white rice). In ten years I've never had a bad experience here. I recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Spanish food in the downtown flushing area. PS don't forget to ask for their spicy sauce, it goes great with anything and everything.
